Ambleside House offers self-catering accommodation in a tastefully furnished house situated on the banks of the Little Tugela River, sleeping up to 8 people. We are located on a farm, 1 km outside of the small town known as Winterton.

Ambleside House comprises of four bedrooms with one being an open-plan room. Our open-plan bedroom has twin beds and our three other rooms are double rooms, which of two have en-suite bathrooms with showers. We also have a third separate bathroom in the downstairs area.

Our kitchen is equipped for self-catering and features a breakfast bar which overlooks the lounge area. Our open-plan lounge has a wood-burning fireplace and is also equipped with a TV for Netflix as well as a music centre and wi-fi access.

We have a beautiful wooden deck overlooking the river towards the Drakensberg mountains, an ideal spot for entertaining, braai-ing or sundowners.

Our guests can relax in the lovely garden, our 8 seater jacuzzi, our two hammocks down by the river underneath the plane trees or even around our fire-pit, all with beautiful views.
